Oak Weather Bars and Red Hardwood Weather bars, provide the finishing touch to an external door. These provide some character but more importantly give weather protection against wind driven rain at the bottom of hardwood doors, which is the weakest point for any external door. When fitted properly these weatherboards for exterior doors prevent rain running down the face of the door, from hitting the weak point of the seal between door and frame.
