Can LPD Doors Be Trimmed?

They certainly can. As a general rule of thumb, you should be able to trim 3mm of lipping on each side of an LPD door including the top and bottom.

However, the amount of lipping will differ from door to door, so we recommend always checking this and getting in touch if you're unsure. If you trim too much off any external door you could do irreparable damage.

The best option is to select the exterior door that's as close to size as possible. Thankfully, we stock a wide range of sizes in our LPD external doors collection.
