More about the FD60 Fire Doors Collection

Our FD60 doors provide fire safety in many different looks. You can find an internal door to match your home décor with added protection from heat, smoke and flames.

Our doors are available in a variety of styles and finishes, so you can find the perfect one for your home.

Styles & Materials

Our extensive range includes so many door designs to make your property look its best. With oak, ash, walnut and other hardwood options, you can match other doors, windows and furniture.

We also offer unfinished and primed doors that can be painted to your preference, as well as pre-finished options that are ready to install.

With doors from the most trusted brands, you can expect stylish, high-quality doors that slow the spread of fire to help provide extra protection. In the event of a fire, knowing you have 60 minutes to help occupants escape thanks to your fire doors gives that extra peace of mind.

Glazing

We offer a variety of glazed doors with fire ratings too. As your fire doors need to stay closed, added vision panels help maintain light flow and visibility through your home. Various glazing options are available, from clear to frosted and bevelled glass.

In this section you can buy a fire door leaf, but we also supply complete doorsets including the frame. Don't forget to explore our fire door sets range.

Questions about FD60 Fire Doors

What is fire rating FD60?

An FD60 fire rating means that the certified product has been tested and can withstand a fire for a period of at least 60 minutes.

What is an FD60 fire door?

FD60 fire rated doors have been certified with the corresponding fire rating. An FD60 door will stop the spread of fire for 60 minutes, providing the door is kept closed and installed correctly.

What size is a FD60 fire door?

There are a range of standard sizes available to suit most common door openings. Our FD60 fire doors are 54mm thick, which is thicker than the average door. This is due to their additional fire protection.

Do I need FD30 or FD60 fire doors?

FD30 fire doors are typically installed in domestic buildings, where you can evacuate fairly fast. An FD60 fire door is more commonly needed in a commercial building or high rise building where escaping a fire could take longer.

However, you'll need to check specific building regulations and assess your own requirements. If an FD60 door gives you the comfort of knowing you're protected, you could opt for this level of fire protection.
