Wooden 3-panel doors bring a sense of elegance wherever they’re hung while their clean lines make them perfectly at home in minimalist spaces. Options like our Aston Oak 3-Panel Doors are particularly popular for use in Georgian era period homes. This opulent design can also add a sense of regality to a more modern home. If you are looking for something more style-forward, the Lincoln Oak 3 Panel Door uses long vertical panels to create a contemporary design.
Whichever wooden 3-panel design you choose, you can be sure it will create a stylish addition.
Glazed 3-Panel doors are perfect to let some natural light into your space whilst still maintaining a sense of privacy and separation between rooms. The DX 30s Oak Door offers the desirable vintage aesthetics of a bygone era, whereas the modern durable toughed glass and solid engineered core offer all the modern benefits.
The advantages of Engineered Wood
Our 3-panelled doors make use of engineered wood which offers excellent durability and low maintenance. Engineered oak is manufactured by bonding small strips of wood to create a dense, solid core. This solid core is then covered with a final layer of solid wood. This perfectly mimics the look of solid oak so unless you tell people, they’ll have no idea it isn’t a solid wood door.
One of the major benefits of engineered wood is it’s far more budget-friendly than a solid wood door. Another reason many people prefer engineered wooden doors is they require much less maintenance than a solid wood door. Engineered wooden doors are not prone to warping or splitting when exposed to weather changes or moisturise so they’re great choices for kitchen and bathroom doors.
You’ll find prefinished and unfinished 3-panel doors so you can choose if you want to add your own final touch or a door that’s ready to hang.
What is a pre-finished door?
Prefinished doors, such as the contemporary oak 3-panel door, come ready to be hanged. They’ve been finished by experts so you’re guaranteed a professional finish that will last for years to come.
What is an unfinished door?
Unfinished doors give you full control over the final finish of your door, whether you want to paint it racing green or simply coat it with a clear lacquer to bring out the natural vibrancy of the wood. We offer many of our doors unfinished as standard, like the DX 30s style oak door, so you can make sure your door perfectly complements your home.
Standard Sized Doors With Customisation Options
We offer a range of standard sizing that will fit most modern doorways. However, we appreciate that period properties, in particular, can have non-standard dimensions in their doorways. That’s why all of our doors have built-in lipping, between 12mm and 20mm, so you can trim the door to size where necessary.
